Breast Thermography is a screening procedure

Integrative Wellness Center provides thermal breast screening that is both comfortable and safe, using no radiation or compression. A highly sensitive infrared camera obtains “heat images” or pictures of the breast, resulting in the early detection of breast cancer. A physician trained in thermology carefully examines changes in the temperature and blood vessels of the breasts, signs of possible cancer or pre-cancerous cell growth. This provides for the earliest detection of cancer possible. Temperature variations and vascular changes may be among the earliest signs of breast cancer and/or a precancerous state of the breast. An abnormal infrared image is also the single most important marker of high risk for developing breast cancer.

Current research has determined that the key to breast cancer survival rests upon its earliest possible detection. If discovered in its earliest stages, 95% cure rates are possible.
